CST EnviroTech – Closed-Loop Hydrogen Based Steam Generator System (WTS-I)

CST EnviroTech’s closed-loop hydrogen steam generator system represents a breakthrough in clean industrial energy, where water is converted into hydrogen fuel and steam without using fossil fuels or external water supply. A hydrogen-powered IC engine drives an alternator, generating electricity that feeds an alkaline electrolyser to continuously produce hydrogen and oxygen. The engine’s high-temperature exhaust (500–550°C) is captured in a Heat Recovery Unit (HRU) to produce industrial steam, while the condensate is recycled back as feed water, creating a self-sustaining circular process. The system includes a battery bank and power multiplier to stabilize and expand power output, enabling 24×7 operation with zero emissions, zero carbon footprint, and near-zero water consumption.

GENERATING STEAM USING RAW WATER as fuel

CST EnviroTech – Closed-Loop Hydrogen Based Steam Generator System (WTS-II)

CST EnviroTech’s closed-loop hydrogen steam generator system is a breakthrough in clean industrial energy, converting water into hydrogen fuel and high-pressure steam without fossil fuels or external water consumption. A hydrogen-powered IC engine drives an alternator that supplies 100% of the running electrical load and powers an alkaline electrolyser to continuously generate hydrogen and oxygen. The engine’s high-temperature exhaust (500–550°C) is captured through a Heat Recovery Unit (HRU) to produce industrial steam, while condensate is recycled, creating a self-sustaining circular system. In this enhanced model, instead of a power multiplier, an intelligent hybrid power source is used—where any additional power needed for electrolysis beyond alternator output is supplemented by solar energy during the day and grid electricity at night, supported by a battery bank for smooth transitions. This enables reliable 24×7 operation with zero emissions, zero carbon footprint, and near-zero water loss.

CST EnviroTech’s Closed-Loop Hydrogen-Based Hot Oil Generator System is a hybrid clean-energy solution designed for reliable industrial heating while advancing energy security and climate action goals. In this system, hydrogen generated through an alkaline electrolyser fuels an IC engine–alternator (H₂ DG set), producing electrical power for system operation while delivering high-temperature exhaust gases at approximately 550 °C. This exhaust energy is captured in a Heat Recovery Unit (HRU), where circulating cold oil is heated to produce high-grade process hot oil for industrial applications such as drying, reactors, and thermal processing—without fossil fuels. Electrical power for electrolysis and auxiliaries is supplied through an intelligent hybrid power source that prioritizes solar energy during daytime, seamlessly switches to grid power at night, and is stabilized through a battery bank to ensure uninterrupted 24×7 operation. Hydrogen generated is continuously recycled back to the engine, while oxygen is safely vented or recovered, creating a controlled closed-loop system with minimal water consumption. By combining hydrogen energy, waste-heat recovery, and solar-grid hybrid power integration, the WTS-IV system delivers near-zero emissions, reduced carbon footprint, and highly efficient industrial heat generation aligned with modern energy transition and climate-resilient infrastructure objectives.

GENERATING HOT Water using RAW WATER as fuel

CST EnviroTech’s Closed-Loop Hydrogen-Based Hot Water Generator System (WTS-V)

CST EnviroTech’s  Closed-Loop Hydrogen-Based Hot Water Generator System is a clean and efficient solution for industrial hot water production, designed to support energy security, energy transition, and climate action objectives. In this system, hydrogen generated through an alkaline electrolyser is used to fuel an IC engine–alternator (H₂ DG set), producing electrical power while generating high-temperature exhaust gases at approximately 550 °C. This exhaust heat is recovered in a Heat Recovery Unit (HRU), where incoming cold water is heated to produce continuous, high-temperature hot water for industrial and commercial applications such as process heating, washing, sanitation, and utilities—without the use of fossil fuels. The electrical power produced by the alternator is routed through a power multiplier and stabilized via a battery bank to ensure reliable operation of the electrolyser and system auxiliaries, enabling sustained closed-loop hydrogen generation. Hydrogen is continuously recycled back to the engine, oxygen is safely vented or recovered, and water remains within a controlled loop, resulting in near-zero water loss. By integrating hydrogen energy, waste-heat recovery, and intelligent power management, the WTS-V system delivers zero on-site emissions, reduced carbon footprint, and dependable hot water generation aligned with modern climate-resilient and sustainable industrial infrastructure goals.

GENERATING Steam using Bio Mass - RAW WATER as fuel

CST EnviroTech’s WTS-VI Biomass–Hydrogen Integrated Steam (WTS-VI)

Generation System is a hybrid clean-energy platform designed to deliver reliable industrial steam while strengthening energy security, supporting decarbonization, and enabling practical energy-transition pathways.

In this configuration, biomass briquettes are converted in a gasifier to produce combustible producer gas. The gas then passes through a tar separation and collection system to ensure clean fuel quality before entering the IC engine–alternator set. The engine generates electrical power while releasing high-temperature exhaust gases at approximately 550 °C.

This thermal energy is captured in a Heat Recovery Unit (HRU). Cold feedwater entering the HRU absorbs the recovered heat and is converted into steam, which is supplied continuously for industrial applications such as process heating, sterilization, utilities, and other thermal demands.

All of the electrical power produced by the genset is utilized to operate the alkaline electrolyser and associated auxiliaries for hydrogen generation. The hydrogen is then blended back into the engine fuel, enhancing combustion characteristics, improving flame stability, and supporting lower-carbon and more efficient operation. Oxygen from electrolysis is safely vented or can be recovered for secondary industrial uses.

By combining hydrogen enrichment with biomass-derived producer gas, the system significantly improves the usable energy extracted from each kilogram of briquette. This leads to substantial fuel savings, reduced operating cost, and makes the overall plant highly economical and commercially workable for continuous industrial duty.

The overall configuration forms an intelligent, resource-efficient loop where:

✔ biomass provides primary renewable energy
✔ engine power drives hydrogen production
✔ hydrogen upgrades fuel quality
✔ exhaust heat generates steam
✔ tar and by-products are separated for safe management

The result is maximum utilization of every energy stream with minimal waste.

By integrating biomass gasification, hydrogen generation, engine power production, and waste-heat recovery, the WTS-VI delivers a resilient, low-emission, and future-ready steam solution for industries seeking fuel flexibility, long-term cost stability, and alignment with sustainability and climate commitments.

CST EnviroTech’s Biomass-Gas Generation Platform

CST EnviroTech’s Biomass-Gas Generation Platform is an integrated renewable energy solution that converts solid biomass into clean, usable gaseous fuel for heat and power applications. The system is engineered for reliable industrial operation, high resource efficiency, and responsible environmental performance.

In this process, biomass feedstock enters the gasifier together with controlled quantities of gasification agents such as air and/or steam. Inside the reactor, thermochemical conversion takes place at high temperature, transforming solid fuel into combustible producer gas while separating mineral residue as ash.

The raw gas then flows through a structured treatment line. First, it enters the gas cooling stage, where temperature is reduced and sensible heat can be recovered for secondary uses. During cooling, moisture condenses and is removed from the system. The gas subsequently passes through gas cleaning, where tar, particulates, and remaining contaminants are captured to ensure stable and safe downstream utilization. Collected tar and condensates are routed for controlled disposal or potential commercial recovery, while ash from the gasifier is separately discharged.

A centralized PLC-based control architecture continuously monitors temperatures, pressures, flows, and safety interlocks, ensuring optimized conversion efficiency and dependable 24×7 plant operation.

After conditioning, the clean producer gas is directed to the utilization block, where it can be flexibly deployed according to site demand:

✔ combusted in a gas-fired boiler to supply process or district heat
✔ used in a gas engine–generator to produce electrical power for local consumption or grid export
✔ safely diverted to a flare system during start-up or abnormal conditions

Exhaust gases are discharged through a controlled chimney system compliant with environmental norms.

By integrating fuel conversion, gas conditioning, and multi-path energy utilization, CST EnviroTech’s platform ensures that energy derived from biomass is fully optimized. The approach supports lower fossil-fuel dependence, improved waste management, and the creation of valuable by-products while maintaining strong operational economics.

The result is a modular, scalable, and future-ready renewable energy infrastructure suited for industrial campuses, municipalities, agro-processing clusters, and decentralized power generation.
